The past fortnight across the Upper Murray and Cudgewa districts has been challenging, with widespread fire activity placing understandable pressure on local communities, producers and emergency services. While these events have drawn time and focus away from normal day-to-day operations, we are pleased to confirm that the Pavey Angus property has not been affected at this stage, and livestock and infrastructure remain secure.
Like many in the region, we have been monitoring conditions closely and adjusting workloads accordingly. We acknowledge the efforts of firefighters, volunteers and support crews who continue to work tirelessly to protect people, livestock and country during this period.
Despite these disruptions, the Pavey Angus breeding program remains firmly on track, and preparations for our upcoming bull sale are progressing as planned.
Pavey Angus Bull Sale – Thursday 13 March 2026
We are pleased to confirm that the Pavey Angus Bull Sale will be held on Thursday, 13 March, with full sale details to be released shortly.
This sale will feature a carefully selected lineup of V-Series bulls, bred and developed under commercial conditions with a strong focus on:
Structural soundness and longevity
Calving ease and fertility
Feed efficiency and carcase performance
Balanced, profitable Angus genetics suited to southern production systems
The offering reflects the continued direction of the Pavey Angus program—moderate, functional cattle backed by objective performance data and aligned with long-term herd profitability.
Industry Outlook
While seasonal and regional conditions can present short-term challenges, confidence across the Angus sector remains strong. Demand for efficient, data-backed genetics continues to underpin commercial confidence, particularly where fertility, carcase merit and adaptability are prioritised.
At Pavey Angus, our focus remains unchanged: producing cattle that work in real-world environments and add value across the supply chain.
We thank clients, neighbours and supporters for their understanding during this period and look forward to sharing further sale information in the coming week.
