The recent Pavey Angus Bull Sale provided an important milestone for our developing stud program, with 15 V-Series bulls presented to the market.

While commercial cattle producers are currently operating in a selective buying environment, we were very pleased to see strong interest from repeat buyers, reinforcing the confidence existing clients have in the direction of the Pavey Angus herd.

A highlight of the sale was Pavey Visionary V16, which sold for $8,000 to a new Pavey Angus client, marking the beginning of what we hope will be a long-term working relationship.

In total four bulls were sold on auction day, with several other producers choosing to take additional time to assess their bull requirements for the coming season.

Importantly, this leaves a number of quality V-Series bulls still available for private selection, providing commercial producers with the opportunity to secure bulls that carry the same focus on:

• Measured genetic progress

• Balanced growth and carcase performance

• Structural soundness and fertility

• Commercial profitability

As a relatively new program, Pavey Angus is focused on building long-term relationships with commercial cattle producers, and we appreciate the support shown by those who inspected cattle, attended the sale and participated in the auction.
